Sunday Quiet Sessions
At the Paper Cat, we want all children to feel welcome to browse and explore our books.
If your child finds busy shops stressful, and would benefit from having a quiet environment to browse just with their family, we offer booked sessions on Sunday mornings between 9.30am - 10am where they can have the shop all to themselves.

Weekly Storytime
From Monday 14th April we begin our regular drop-in story times at The Paper Cat.
Each Monday we shall share some of our favourite picture books between 10.30am and 11am.
Sessions are free to attend and there is no need to book.
All ages welcome!
10:30am -Saturday 17th May
Join Rachel Piercey, author of the best-selling series Brown Bear Wood, for a morning of poetic fun. Expect interactive performances, poetry writing and creative activities inspired by It's Busy Down in the Woods Today (Magic Cat, illustrated by Freya Hartas), the latest book set in the enchanting world of Brown Bear Wood.

Join illustrator Rachel Wolf as she shares her fabulous new book, Wolf in the City, with the help of plush Wolf and Pigeon… then get to make and decorate our very own Wolf to take away!

10:30am - Wednesday 28th May
Join author-illustrator Thiago de Moraes for a fun packed session inspired by his new book Mighty Myths! Find out about myths and legends from across the world and then join Thiago for some mythological live drawing, where Thiago will take audience suggestions to create some wacky new mythical monsters!
