EVENT LOCATION - SOUTH LONDON DANCE SCHOOL, 130 Herne Hill, London SE24 9QL Please be aware this event is taking place at the South London Dance School and not at The Paper Cat Bookshop.
STEVEN McRAE - the extraordinary principal dancer at the Royal Ballet and star of the BBC Documentary - DANCING BACK TO THE LIGHT, will be celebrating the launch of his new children’s book right here in Herne Hill!
We are very excited to be collaborating with two of our brilliant neighbours on this amazing event - the wonderful Duo Dance & South London Dance School.
Steven will be hosting a two Q&As, one at 10am and another at 11.30am, at South London Dance School to discuss his new children's book, Anything is Possible with Ballet.
Each ticket costs £14.99 per child - A child can bring along one adult for free. Adults without a child will need to purchase a ticket.
Each ticket can be redeemed against a copy of the book which can be collected after the event. Steven will then sign and dedicate all books after each Q&A.
More about the book - Enter the studio with Steven McRae, principal dancer with the Royal Ballet, and master everything from the basic positions to performing the most expressive jumps with step-by-step instructions and glorious illustrations throughout.
Steven's journey through the world of ballet has been anything but ordinary, and this is a companion book with a difference. Woven through the personal anecdotes on self-care, resilience and self-belief, is the book's central message: ballet is for absolutely everyone, including you!
